My nephew, Niko is only 5 months old and I’m already thinking of his 1 year birthday gift. I want to paint a canvas for him that has his name featured in a cool way. Here are a couple of mocks, one is abstract and the other is more straightforward. I’m definitely leaning towards the abstract!
I’m off to New York! Back to the drawing board on April 28.
An illustration of the English language today. How far we’ve come… *sigh”.
Happy Boss Day!
I'm off to Seattle to visit my friend Lia for her birthday! Back to the drawing board on September 3!
The Beetles along Abbey Road.
For my cactus-loving sister.
It's vacation time and this year, I'm off to Greece! Starting in Chania, Crete, then Santorini (Oia, Thira) and ending in Athens.

It's a jungle out there! And a safari...
I've been practicing Transcendental Meditation for years and am excited to go on my first retreat this weekend! It's a weekend of no work, no hobbies, no driving, no phones - just deep rest.
I'll be blissed out with my fellow TM-ers for a few days, back on October 10!
I remember I was always so scared to watch "Land of the Lost" when I was a kid because of the sleestaks. They were reptillian beings from another land and they hissed and scared the bejesus out of me.
Thank goodness I've grown up and can now have a new appreciation for the campy creatures. I've decided to make them a little more scary as a hybrid sleestak/vampire.
This weekend, I babysat Sid and Jamey, my sister's boyfriends kids while he was at work. We had a great day of gardening, walking around the neighborhood to get ice cream and my favorite, drawing with Jamey!
May the fourth be with you
